A brief commercial interruption

A week from now, it will all be over.

Don't miss your chance to witness the magic of DanceVision's "The Snow Queen!"

At DanceVision, we recognize that there are many opportunities to see ballet in our region at this time of year. Chances are, if you are going to see a ballet in the months of November or December, it will be some version of "The Nutcracker."

As a result, we announce our "It's Not the Nutcracker" promotion!
***Valid for tickets purchased at the box office on the day of performance only.***
If you have bought tickets to any Nutcracker ballet this season, bring your ticket stub or proof of purchase to the box office window on the day of a performance for a discount on your ticket to "The Snow Queen."

This brings the price of a $25 adult ticket purchased at the door down to $20. Senior and student/child tickets normally $20 at the door will be $15 with your Nutcracker ticket stub.

Of course, you can still beat the rush and ensure that you will have a seat by ordering in advance at www.DanceVisionNJ.org. Advance sale ticket prices are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and students/children. Tickets are selling VERY quickly! Well over 900 already sold. Don't miss your chance!

Dress Rehearsal Sneak Peek

This weekend brought our first full dress rehearsal. It was incredible to watch it all come together in the studio. We've been witnessing the story of "The Snow Queen" come to life through dance over the last few months, but adding the costumes, props and some of the major set pieces brought it all to another level!

We thought it was time to bring you at least a few photos of our dancers in costume.

Below is a photo of two of our leads. Kai, played by Max Azaro, is the young boy who turns cold and mean, following the Snow Queen to her ice palace. Gerda, played by Jorina Kardhashi, goes on many adventures as she travels to rescue Kai from the Snow Queen.

Below, you get a small glimpse at some of the other townsgirls and grandma. Normally, the girls in the background would not be seen. They are technically "in the wings" aka backstage.

Coming soon- interviews with some of our dancers and members of the production team.

Buy your tickets today at www.dancevisionnj.org before it is too late. The show premieres on December 17 and 18 at The College of New Jersey's Kendall Theater. Tickets will be more expensive at the door.
